Fayetteville police now have a special way to comfort children in crisis.
Tuesday, officers picked up about 40 stuffed animals from the University of Arkansas Bookstore.
Last week, the bookstore and Build-A-Bear teamed up and invited folks to make a bear for five dollars, or donate the bear for no charge.
The bears will go to children in need, and the money raised will help U of A students.
"All the money that was made because of this program was given to the food pantry on campus for the kitchen to provide food for students that have needs," said Ali Sadeghi, director of the University Bookstore.
Around $800 was raised for the university's Full Circle Food Pantry.
Walmart also donated 20 stuffed animals to the police department.
