Hundreds of Springdale students gathered to reflect on September 11.
Central Junior High School students learned about leadership and how to be better citizens.
Winfield Watson, Social Studies Department Chair at CJHS, created a video for the students, honoring the men and women who lost their lives.
"If they forget, if we forget, then everyone who gave their life going into those buildings on 9/11 when everyone was running out, they died for nothing, so we can't forget."
Watson said many students have a direct connection with September 11, whether loved ones were lost or family members were there 11 years ago.
