Number 1 Alabama took down unranked Arkansas this afternoon in Fayetteville 52-0.

The Hogs, reeling after last week's lost to University of Louisiana-Monroe was shut out in Fayetteville for the first time since 1966.

Rumors about Arkansas quarterback Tyler Wilson swirled before the game started. Wilson was spotted in pads and throwing before the game started, but moments before the game started, John L. Smith announced Wilson would not play. Instead, WIlson spent the game on the sidelines holding a headset.

Backup quarterbacks Brandon Mitchell and Brandon Allen struggled throughout the game. Allen was 10-18 passing for 60 yards and 2 interceptions. Mitchell was 1-7 for 19 yards.
