Here's a look at your National Headlines this morning:
 

Minnesota

Authorities in Minnesota say several people are dead and at least four others injured in a workplace shooting in Minneapolis.

Police have confirmed that the gunman is one of the deceased and that he died from a self inflicted gunshot wound. Three men are listed in critical condition at a local hospital. Another victim had injuries not thought to be life threatening.

No motive has been released at the time of this posting.

California

The California man behind a film, which some blame for inciting rage in the Middle East, was ordered held without bond.

A federal judge ruled that Nakoula Basseley Nakoula should be held on suspicion of violating the terms of his probation. The 55-year-old Nakoula is on probation from a 2012 conviction for check fraud.

A 14-minute trailer for his film "The Innocence of Muslims" was posted on YouTube in July, and has been linked to protests around the Middle East.

Colorado

The Aurora, Colorado theater shooting case file is set to be unsealed today. The unsealed documents are expected to be largely procedural in nature, but they will provide new insights into the case and the alleged shooter James Holmes.

Holmes is accused is accused of killing 12 and injuring 58 more, during a screening of "The Dark Knight Rises" at a Colorado theater on July 20. He's charged with 152 counts in the shooting.

Michigan

Police plan to take soil samples today in the backyard of a Roseville, Michigan home. That's where authorities have been told the body of the missing former Teamsters boss, Jimmy Hoffa, may have been buried.

The soil samples will test for human decomposition. Radar tests under a cement slab in the backyard have already shown that the ground had been disturbed at some point in time.

This all came about after a man who is seriously ill and dying from cancer told police he saw men moving a black bag at the House's garage hours after Hoffa went missing more than 35 years ago.

Hoffa was last seen was last seen on July 30, 1975 outside a suburban Detroit restaurant.
