Arkansas senior quarterback Tyler Wilson speaks with the media Monday about the Texas A&M loss and the upcoming Auburn game.

Quotes provided by UA Sports Information.

QB-Tyler Wilson (on if there is any sense of resignation in the locker room) -"I don't believe that is the case at all. I feel like every week is an opportunity. Now, resignation of some of the goals that we set previously, maybe. But, our goal, right now, and it has been since we started, is to go out and play each game every single week to the best of our ability and we have an opportunity from this point on to do that. We feel that we can go out and compete hard and have ourselves in a position to win this week. I always feel like we can do the things right."

QB-Tyler Wilson (on if  the losses are harder every week) -"It's disappointing every week because you put a lot of work in and you keep working harder and harder each week to give yourself a little bit more of an advantage and then there is some disappointment sometimes. But, in the game, you are a competitor and you want to win. I think there is only one way I know how to work and that is to continue to work harder. That way you don't have regrets. That way you are prepared to play. You understand your assignments and your checks, communication and everything that I need to do to do my job to the best of my ability. That is what I will thrive on every week, so that I am prepared to play and so that I don't have any regrets and am not saying that's why we got beat. That won't be the case."

QB-Tyler Wilson (on the emotional state of the team) -"I feel like there's opportunity for us and I believe that. It is my job to spin that to the team and make sure that they feel the same way. I get that vibe that there are a number of guys inside that locker room that still believe that way. At times is there a number of things that disappoint you continue to kind of wear at you? Yeah. But, you have to go back to what you believe in. I believe in myself, I believe in a lot of those guys. Every one of those guys in the locker room have had success in the past. There is no reason that they should waiver in their confidence because we've done it before. You just have to go back to what you believe in."

QB-Tyler Wilson (on what motivates this team) -"I think it is pride at this point. I think you can speak until you are blue in the face. You get across sometimes and sometimes you might not. But, at this point, look yourself in the mirror, and know that what you do out on the field is at the best of your ability and you are going to be prideful in doing that. Whoever you play for, if you play for yourself, if you play for your mom or your dad, whoever you play for, everybody plays for different reasons, but be prideful in it. That is all I have asked, and at this point it is what you have to ask yourself and everybody else."

QB-Tyler Wilson (on RB-Knile Davis' play at Texas A&M) -"He ran tough and gave us a tremendous amount of energy. That burst that you need, that excitement, you need that from a lot of guys. Cobi (Hamilton) gave us that spark last week (vs. Rutgers). Knile gave us that early spark this week. We'd love to see fireworks. When something bad happens, we cannot get our head down. We will try to produce as much positives as possible. Knile did that for us a little bit this week, especially early."

QB-Tyler Wilson (on returning to the site of his 332-yard passing performance off the bench in 2010) -"It was a great opportunity for me. The last time I was at the stadium I enjoyed the competition, the atmosphere, the environment. It was a great breakout game to have on my behalf and the way our team performed. I know that they have had a little bit of struggle this season as well, at times. I think the matchup is going to be very interesting. Both teams have a little bit to prove. I think the environment will be great. It always is down there. They have a great fan base, great support. I know we are going to go down there and give it our best."

QB-Tyler Wilson (on his comfort level with WR-Cobi Hamilton) -"He is an outstanding player. There's a number of things we do in practice, as far as skeleton work, seven-on-seven, you build that chemistry with him. A lot of particular plays that we understand and are on the same page on, as a result when things break down or happen, that is the guy you go to."

QB-Tyler Wilson (on if the offense missed TE-Chris Gragg in the Red Zone) -"I think anytime you don't have a player of that quality anywhere on the field it obviously limits you a little bit. We have got guys behind him that can make plays. Austin Tate has done an incredible job and so has (Alex) Voelzke. They can play football. We have got to continue to use those guys."
