Fayetteville Farmer's Market Looks to Expand

"America's Favorite Farmers' Market" could be expanding soon.

On Tuesday, The Fayetteville City Council unanimously approved a proposal to expand the number of days per week the Fayetteville Farmers' Market could operate at the Botanical Gardens of the Ozarks.

Between April and November, vendors can set up on the Fayetteville Square on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturday mornings.

The change will add market days on Wednesday nights and Saturday mornings at the Botanical Gardens of the Ozarks.

Market Manager Teresa Mauer says the expansion will free up vendor space on the square and provide other options for Market shoppers who can't get to the South Side of Fayetteville.
