Lights out for IKEA

It's lights out for swedish retailer IKEA. IKEA began phasing out incandescent light bulbs two years ago, but now the store plans to take it to the next step...

The retailer will only sell energy efficient LED lighting by the year 2016.  IKEA says LED lighting consumes 85% less energy than incandescent bulbs and can last up to twenty times longer.

Just for Kids

And something new to keep the kids occupied on the iPad. Netflix has added the "Just for Kids" viewing experience to the Apple tablet.

The "Just for Kids" section is loaded with movies and TV shows deemed appropriate for little
eyes and ears. For now, it'll only be available on the two latest versions of the iPad. Expect it to roll out for the original iPad as well as Android tablets, later this year.
