Project right choice is a local drug awareness program in Fayetteville. The project hosted an event at Agri Park today to raise awareness about the issue. Among the special guests was Congressman Steve Womack, who's son had battled the drug.
"It is so prevalent, it is so addictive and it destroys individuals, it destroys families and it can take down economies, so to be able to get our arms around this problem is something that I think is a national priority," Womack said.
Project Right Choice has meetings on the third Tuesday of every month at the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce. For more information visit their website, www.ProjectRightChoice.com
