Friends of St. Jude

The central purpose of the group is to raise funds to support the lifesaving work done at St. Jude. In addition, the goals are to increase awareness of St. Jude within the local community, provide local volunteer support and create an engaging environment where young professionals can gather with a common interest of supporting this great cause.
Friends of St. Jude provides young professionals the opportunity to have fun, meet new people and make an impact on the lives of St. Jude patients and their families.
Although St. Jude is located in Memphis, Tennessee, it truly is a local cause. Children with catastrophic diseases from all 50 states have been admitted to the hospital, regardless of age, sex, race, religion or ability to pay. In addition, important research from the hospital is shared freely with medical institutions in our region and throughout the world.
St. Jude needs help from groups like Friends of St. Jude because daily operating costs are $1.5 million, which are primarily covered by public contributions, requiring consistent and continued charitable support.
