Pet Food Drive Exceeds Goal

By: KNWA News
Updated: October 4, 2012
The Ranger's Pantry Pet Food Bank announced Thursday its "Pounds for Paws" Food Drive was a major success.

The goal of the drive was to raise 2,000 pounds of pet food. They exceeded that goal by almost 500 with 2,483 pounds of donated pet food.

The Animal Medical Care Clinic, Gulley Park Pets Clinic and Family Pets Veterinary Care all participated by allowing drop-off boxes to be placed in the businesses during the drive.

Anyone who would like to continue donating pet food can deliver it to any Fayetteville Fire Station, the Community Services office at 125 W. Mountain or All Around Storage located on City Lake Road.

Cash donations are also accepted. All cash donations are used to buy pet food for the pantry.
