Downtown Bentonville celebrated Oktoberfest for First Friday, despite the cold rainy weather.

Vendors set up shop in less than favorable weather Friday morning, but organizers hope traditional German music, polka and homemade bratwurst will still draw a crowd.

The festival also features a Rootbier Garten, complete with ice cream floats and a brat eating contest.

The event runs from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Bentonville square.
