Arrests Made by FBI In California for Arkansas Murder

In July 2006, three men are alleged to have forcibly entered the residence of victim Courtney Morris in El Dorado. Upon entering the residence, Morris was shot and a second victim was assaulted before the perpetrators fled the residence in a vehicle. Morris later died as a result of his wounds. Kirk D. Traylor, Derrick Lee White and Marchallo D. White were identified by police as the alleged murderers and charged with homicide and aggravated assault on July 20 th, 2006. Detectives with the El Dorado Police Department determined that the subjects had fled the state of Arkansas shortly after the murder. Investigators determined that Marchallo White and Kirk Traylor had been residing at family member`s residence in Apple Valley, California, near Victorville. Both fugitives were taken into custody by the Los Angeles Fugitive Task Force, which includes Agents with the FBI and Officers with the LAPD. White and Traylor will be extradited to Arkansas to face prosecution. Derrick White, who is the cousin of Marchallo White, is still at large. (Copyright 2006 Newsroom Solutions, LLC)
