Although St. Jude is located in Memphis, Tennessee, it truly is a local cause. Children with catastrophic diseases from all 50 states have been admitted to the hospital, regardless of age, sex, race, religion or ability to pay. In addition, important research from the hospital is shared freely with medical institutions in our region and throughout the world.

The Northwest Arkansas St. Jude Give thanks. Walk is one of 90 events taking place in communities across the country on Nov. 17 to help kids battling cancer and other deadly diseases.

The noncompetitive 5K is an annual fundraiser for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital that serves as the official kick-off event for the St. Jude Thanks and Giving campaign.

Donor dollars will help ensure that the hospital's pioneering research and lifesaving treatments continue to save countless lives in Northwest Arkansas and beyond because St. Jude freely shares its research with the global medical community, helping children who never even visit St. Jude.
