Van Buren Police are looking for a woman who threw a tub of ice cream and some M&M's candy at a cashier.

Police say a man and woman walked up to the cashier at Price Cutter with a tub of ice cream and some M&M's to buy. When the clerk rang them up, the items only came to $6.00, and that the cashier thought this was strange so she checked the items. The cashier said she noticed the tags had been placed over the original bar codes and confronted the couple about it.

The female became irate and threw the bag of items at the cashier, striking her in the face and in the shoulder, say police, after the items were thrown the couple walked out of the store and drove off at a high rate of speed.

Police say they drove off in a green extended cab pick-up with a partial license plate number of 406___. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Van Buren Police Department.
