KENTUCKY

A Headstart school bus with nine children and two adults on board was involved in a deadly accident in Kentucky Monday afternoon.

The bus left the roadway, flipped and collided with a tree.

Two of the children were pronounced dead at the scene. Four children and an adult assistant who was on the bus were flown to Kentucky hospitals for treatment. Their conditions have not yet been released.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.

LOS ANGELES, CA

After millions of miles in space, and then 12 more miles in Los Angeles, the space shuttle, Endeavor, is finally ready for visitors.

The display at the California Science Center in L.A. opens today alongside objects like one of the engines that blasted it into space.

Visitors will not be allowed inside the space shuttle endeavor but they will be able to walk under it and navigate the craft "virtually" using a touch-screen.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA

The San Francisco Giants have returned home from Michigan as world champions.

The team arrived by chartered jet Monday afternoon in San Francisco. The Giants completed a four-game sweep of the Detroit Tigers Sunday night for their second World Series title in three years.

San Francisco officials are planning a parade for Wednesday.
