LOS ANGELES, CA

After millions of miles in space, and then 12 more miles in Los Angeles, the space shuttle, Endeavor, is finally ready for visitors.

The display at the California Science Center in L.A. opens today alongside objects like one of the engines that blasted it into space.

Visitors will not be allowed inside the space shuttle endeavor but they will be able to walk under it and navigate the craft "virtually" using a touch-screen.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA

The San Francisco Giants have returned home from Michigan as world champions.

The team arrived by chartered jet Monday afternoon in San Francisco. The Giants completed a four-game sweep of the Detroit Tigers Sunday night for their second World Series title in three years.
