New Lane Opens on Highway 265

According to the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department, starting Wednesday drivers will now be using the new lanes East of the existing lanes on that road.
This may also mean you could be restricted to one lane alternating between northbound and southbound traffic.
The work is part of a project to widen about two miles of the highway from three lanes to a four lane divided roadway.
The project is expected to be complete by 2014 and will also include a raised median between Highway 45 and Joyce Boulevard.
