Walking through the Northwest Arkansas Mall this November, you'll see a donation box, not for your typical toys.

"We're starting to collect new bras today that will be given to local women in need through local women shelters like peace at home family shelter," Founding member of Womenade, Jody Dilday said.

It's a lift these women need during extremely tough times.

"When she arrives at the shelter she may only have the clothes on her back, and used clothing is okay, but used undergarments aren't. We're really concerned about preserving the dignity of women in need," Dilday said.

In just 2 years Womenade has donated about 400 bras and they're hoping to give even more.

"Bras are needed in all sizes. As we all know bras can be expensive and everybody comes in different shapes and sizes so from the smallest of bras to the largest they're all welcome."

So this month, don't leave these girls hanging. To donate, go to the Northwest Arkansas Mall and add a bra to the basket.

"I know that it really helps meet the needs of their clientele."

To wrap up the bra donations, Womenade is hosting the third annual "Give Thanks for the Girls" event at Mermaids in Fayetteville.

Mark your calendars for Thursday Nov. 29th from 6 to 9 pm.

It's a bra or 10 dollar donation to attend.

At the end of the event, they'll take all the new bras and donate them to shelters.
