Rep. John Burris (R-98) is the state representative from Harrison and the former Minority Leader in the Arkansas House.

Burris has seen a huge shift in the state legislature since his first day on the job, including historic gains in 2010. Now going into his third and final term in the house, Burris hopes to leave in the Majority for the very first time.

In a recent interview with the still young, but weathered, Burris, he discusses his expectations going into election night and on into 2013, his party's working relationship with a popular Democrat in the governor's office, and the one thing his caucus won't budge on in the next legislative session.
