According to the Rogers School District, they will know by 5:30 Thursday morning whether the school buses will roll. The transportation service will drive their routes, and determine whether the roads are safe.
If only certain roads are dangerous, bus drivers have a back up plan. You can log on to the Rogers School District website and look up the alternate routes. This may require your child to be dropped off at a different location then normal.
Once the bus drivers assess their routes, they will call the superintendent and a decision will be made whether students should head to school. Parents can find out school cancellations by turning on KNWA Today beginning at 5-am.
