There's plenty of empty tables here at Mexico Vejio, but Tuesday night this was the place to be to support Mayor Lioneld Jordans win to a another term as mayor of Fayetteville.
It took all of us together because I've learned one thing. In this office you cannot ever do anything by yourself," says Mayor Lioneld Jordan.
And Jordan's battle for another term took a lot of help.
"Well this was a great win, but it was primarily to a great campaign and all the hard work that they put into it," says Jordan.
Now Jordan ready continue doing exactly what he's been doing since 2008.
"Now we have a balanced budget," says Jordan.
He says the budget-- balanced for the first time since 2000, and that will only continue in Fayetteville.
"I love this city, I believe it's so diverse and diversity is really our strength."
So he has one final thought for the folks who helped keep him in the mayors seat.
"I want to thank the people of this great city for giving me 4 more years," says Jordan.
Now this was a long campaign no doubt, but Mayor Jordan says he'll be back in office Wednesday morning at 6 a.m.
