Bad weather hitting the East Coast is affecting flights right here in Northwest Arkansas.

Airport officials at the Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport tell us a handful of flights have been canceled because of the nor'easter.

According to XNA's website, flights with American and United scheduled to and from Newark, New Jersey, and New York were already canceled on Wednesday.

If you'd like to check the status of your departing XNA flight, click here.
