The issue may have been show down, but the controversy surrounding medical marijuana in Arkansas continues.

A medical marijuana vending machine company is suing the Family Council Action Committee and their CEO Jerry Cox.

The company claims Cox used a cardboard cut out of a Medbox vending machine during a press conference in Little Rock recently portraying the company in a false light and damaging their image.

"There's considerable controversy about them. For one thing, they allow the sale of so-called medical marijuana 24/7. So there are concerns just about the safety of the product in the machine. Would people break in and try to steal it? And then, what kind of criminal activities can be associated with the machines being set up," said Jerry Cox of the Family Council Action Committee.

Medbox is seeking an unspecified amount in damages and a public apology from the Family Council Action Committee.
