Tuesday, Arkansas voters approved a proposed state highway tax.  

The half-cent sales tax increase will provide funding for improvements to highways across the Natural State.

But what exactly does this mean for our area?

Mike Malone, president and CEO of the Northwest Arkansas Council, stopped by the Fox Morning Edge studios Thursday morning to talk about the impact the tax will have.
