Tennessee Game Moved to ESPN

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - The University of Arkansas men's basketball game with Tennessee scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 2, has had a network change in its television coverage. Originally scheduled to air on ESPN2 from Bud Walton Arena, the game has been moved to ESPN. Tip time for the Southeastern Conference competition remains at 3 p.m. central.

The move to ESPN gives the Razorbacks four games on the flagship station of the network with the potential for three others that have not been assigned at this time. Arkansas plays Syracuse on Nov. 30, Tennessee on Feb. 2, Florida on Feb. 5, and Missouri on March 5 on ESPN with games against Alabama on Jan. 31, Missouri on Feb. 16 and Georgia on Feb. 21 still waiting for designation between ESPN and ESPN2. The Razorbacks' four games on ESPN are the most carried on the network since as far back as the 2005-06 season.

The Razorbacks and Volunteers were both selected to finish among the top five teams in the SEC by the league's media in late October and have had a very competitive record over the last two seasons. The Razorbacks defeated the Volunteers when they came to Bud Walton Arena in 2011, 68-65, and erased a sizeable deficit in the first round of the SEC Tournament in March before dropping a six-point game. Tennessee then defeated the Razorbacks in Knoxville last season, 71-58.
