He is in his last 10 hours to graduate in December. Breeding, who was also named a semifinalist for the 2012 NFF National Scholar-Athlete Awards and the William V. Campbell Trophy, has been named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll in 2010 and 2011 and has been selected to the Athletic Director's List (GPA between 3.5-3.99) three times in his academic career.

Breeding, who is on the watch list for the Ray Guy Award, has punted 40 times during the 2012 season and has averaged 46.2 yards per punt. He ranks second in the SEC and sixth in the country in punting average. Breeding has 16 punts of 50 or more yards, including a career-long of 72 yards earlier in the season, and has played 14 punts inside the 20-yard line. For his career, Breeding ranks third in school history in career punts (206) and career punting yards (8,818). He ranks fifth in school history in career punting average, with an average of 42.8 yards.
