Number four -- Loughner sentenced. The man who killed six and injured 13 in the tucson shooting rampage has been sentenced to life in prison without parole. A judge gave jared loughner seven consecutive life terms plus 140-years. Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords was among those injured in last year's shooting. Loughner pleaded guilty to avoid the death penalty in exchange for life in prison.
Number three -- Nor'easter. First it was superstorm sandy, now a nor'easter is whipping the northeast. The storm has dumped wet snow and snapped power lines from delaware to Maine. Here's a look at conditions at a beach in Milford, Connecticut. The nor'easter complicates restoration efforts days after the superstorm killed more than 100 people in the region and knocked out power to millions of customers.
Number two -- Duggar's new 'do. The famous duggar family surprised the matriarch of the family with a birthday makeover. Michelled Duggar says she had not changed her hairstyle in more than 40 years and she says she's loving her new straight 'do.
Number one -- Walmart's black friday deals. Walmart is getting an earlier start on its black friday deals, with plans to open its stores at eight p-m on thanksgiving. It's the earliest the retailer has ever offered them. Walmart is betting big that shoppers are ready to open their wallets during the holiday season, which makes up a quarter of its annual sales.
