Washington County election officials offered up their ballot counting machines for Benton County to use, after Benton County's machines broke.
But even after Benton County borrowed the machines, election commissioners discovered about ten percent of the ballots were being rejected!!
So after all of that, they had to count hundreds of ballots by hand.
They expect to have everything counted by noon Friday.

State Senator Jeremy Hutchinson, (R)-Little Rock, was chosen to head the judiciary committee.

The Arkansas Farm Bureau surveyed food prices around the state and found for a family of ten, Thanksgiving will cost $45.12 cents, which is up by just one cent from last year.
This, after food prices jumped in 2011.
Luckily, prices in Arkansas have remained low and stable this past year, allowing us to enjoy our big meal for less than $5 a person.
