Mark Wahlberg and Michael Bay team up and strong storms hit the east coast in Friday's edition of "The Pulse".

World War Z
Ever since the trailer for this movie came out people have been buzzing about it. The plot of the movie, a UN employee races against time and fate as he travels the world trying to stop a zombie pandemic. Sounds like pretty cool stuff, we'll be waiting for that to hit theaters.

Mark Wahlberg Joins Transformers
It's official, Marky Mark will be the new star of the popular "Transformers" movies. Director Michael Bay confirmed the star will replace Shia Labeouf for the fourth movie in the franchise, and it seems that the fans had something to do with it. Bay mentioned after announcing the role change that the internet chatter about Wahlberg gave him the idea to hire the star.

The Northeast Storm
The winter storm piled on the misery for residents who were still reeling from Sandy, dropping more than a foot of snow in some areas. Gasoline rationing begins today for motorists in the affected areas; the move is designed to ease the fuel crunch since shortages could last a few more weeks. Utility crews are still trying to restore electricity to more than 650,000 residents who are in the dark.

Mike Brown Fired
Los Angeles Lakers coach Mike Brown has been fired after a 1-4 start to the season. The disappointing start by the Lakers followed an off-season in which the NBA team added center Dwight Howard and point guard Steve Nash to their lineup.

David Petraeus Resigns
CIA director David Petraeus has resigned citing personal reasons. Apparently, Petraeus admitted to an extra-marital affair in a letter sent to his colleagues. In it, he said that he showed poor judgment by engaging in the affair, and that such behavior is unacceptable as a husband and as the leader of an organization such as the CIA.
