Hunter Shot After Being Mistaken for Deer

A hunter was shot this weekend near Amity.
According to the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, the hunter was shot in the leg below the knee after another hunter mistook him for a deer.
The man who was shot is expected to recover.
According to authorities, both men were cited for failure to wear the required hunting attire.
