The City of Springdale is looking for input on what folks would like to see downtown.

Downtown Springdale Alliance is hosting an open house at the Jones Center. They asked residents to bring new ideas and had professionals put the plans on paper, during two sessions on Wednesday.

Mayor Doug Sprouse wants to see people getting involved in the revitalization of the city and a place they can enjoy.

"I've seen downtown when it was very busy, and then I've seen the decline.... But I think we've got a real opportunity here that we've never had before."

Sprouse said the Master Plan is a work in progress, but believes the building of the Razorback Greenway really got the ball rolling on improvements.
