Black Friday battles always get the best of shoppers who are looking for the best deals.
"Bumping elbows... and fighting it out," says local tech blogger, Stephanie McCratic.
It's all coming soon to a store near you.
"I want to find exactly what I'm looking for, go to that store, get that thing and then move on," McCratic says.
Well, look no further than your smartphone, to simplify your shopping experience.
"There are so many Black Friday apps," Mccratic says.
Digital discounts at your fingertips, sending your buggy to the best deals in town.
"I really found one that rose to the top, and it was called 'Black Friday by Fat Wallet,'" Mccratic says. "They have good data, they also have a really great user interface. It's clean, it's simple."
Mccratic, who blogs for the website "EvolvedMommy.com," has researched nearly a dozen different Black Friday apps.
"I looked at ones that have mostly been around this season and last season because you know apps and come and go."
She says a lot of the apps carry the same title -- "Black Friday" -- but the best ones categorize by store and product.
"You can see who has it for what price by what brand," McCratic adds. "They have their purpose and they do make it easier when you're out there in the trenches, shopping."
So, before you hit the bargain battlefield next Friday, think about stocking your pocket with an arsenal. Full of apps.
"This can help have that plan and attack that it in an efficient way."
