Police: Man Arrested for Armed Robbery

Fayetteville police were arrest a man they say robbed another man at gunpoint.

It happened at Suds Car Wash on Martin Luther King Blvd. Investigators say the robber held the barrel of a rifle to the back of the victim's head, took the man's wallet, and threatened to kill his family before driving off in the victim's truck. A short time later, police caught up with Erik Olson on 5-40 near Johnson. There, they found the victim's cell phone and wallet in his pockets. They also found a rifle in the truck. Olson is charged with felony aggravated robbery and several misdemeanors including terroristic threatening and driving while intoxicated.
