"We're doing it doing it, we're making people aware of what's going on."

Tim and Jeff from 105.7 camped out in the cold for their 10th annual canned food camp out.

"There's lots of awesome things here in Northwest Arkansas but you won't really here about that there are poor people here," said Tim Timmerman co-host of Tim and Jeff.

"Fayetteville and Washington County has one of the highest rates of hunger issues in the state of Arkansas," said Serina Tustin with Lifesource. Tustin said it's events like these that keep her shelves stocked.

"This is very important to us because we're serving 1400 families each month through our food pantry. Now, that's families and that's a lot of mouthes we're having to feed each month."

These guys, parked in the lot, all in hopes of helping out the hungry this holiday season.

"We're living here, this scruff is going to be worse by Saturday. It's gonna be pretty thick." said TIm.

You can drop off your canned food donation until 5 p.m. on Saturday. You can find the food drive in the Walmart parking lot off of Joyce in Fayetteville.
