There was plenty of puppet-making Saturday in Fayetteville during Guess How Much I Love You Boot Camp at the Walton Arts Center.

Kindergartners through second graders exercised their creativity while acting out scenes on stage and crafting puppets with newspaper, plastic bags, and masking tape.

"It's important for kids to get outside of the house and to go do something and explore that creative and imaginative side of their brains," said Jason Suel.

The event was all diving into the story Guess How Much I Love You, and an adaptation will hit the WAC stage in December.
