Several Senior Citizens Hurt in Church Bus Wreck

Fourteen to 15 senior citizens are reported injured in a church bus wreck in Conway County.

It happened Tuesday morning along Highway 9 about two miles outside Morrilton.

Officials tell KARK 4 News that at least two of the injured were airlifted from the scene.

The driver reportedly told emergency officials at the scene that he remembered feeling sick to his stomach before the crash.

The bus traveled 500 feet off the road into a field before overturning, officials said.

The conditions of those injured are not yet known.

KARK 4 News has been told the bus belonged to Lonoke Baptist Church in Morrilton.
