Neighbors React to Arrest In Jersey Bridgeman's Death

By: Channing Barker
Updated: November 27, 2012

"I am glad they caught him just in time before anyone else got hurt."

Amanda Lopez lies on Southeast A street in Bentonville. Now that Holly has been caught, Lopez says she's happy to have the accused killer behind bars.

"It just completely tears me apart knowing that someone who was around that child for so long could hurt a kid like that," said Lopez. "I see kids out here everyday playing and it makes me feel better knowing that he has been caught because now I don't have to worry as much about it.

And Amanda hopes this arrest will bring some sort of closure to such a tragic death.

"Jersey can finally rest in peace knowing that he has been found," she said.
