Royal Family to Welcome New Addition

Man of Steel
In anticipation of the Dark Knight Rises, which arrives on DVD Tuesday, Warner Brothers released a poster Monday for the newest re-launch of Superman. The man of steel is in handcuffs surrounded by guards. Superman fans are quick to point out the handcuffs likely don't have Kryptonite in them since Superman is standing tall. Warner Brothers has been tight-lipped about the flick which opens next summer.

Fiscal Cliff
A proposal by House Republicans to avoid the so-called Fiscal Cliff was quickly rejected by the White House. GOP leaders outlined their plan in a letter to President Obama Monday. It would reportedly shave more than $2 trillion from the deficit over the next decade and is done through tax reform and cuts to medicare. The White House says the plan isn't fair and sticks the middle class with the bill. President Obama has said any deal must raise taxes on the wealthy.

George Zimmerman
His defense attorney released this picture Monday which was taken on February 26th by police after Trayvon Martin was shot and killed. Zimmerman's attorney says this is proof that the 17-year-old attacked him prior to the deadly shooting. The former neighborhood patrolman is charged with second-degree murder in martin's death. Zimmerman says he was on neighborhood patrol and was acting in self-defense, putting Florida's "stand your ground" law to the test. His trial is expected to start in June.

Homeless Man is Barefoot Again
This photo captured the moment when New York City Police Officer Lawrence Deprimo knelt down to give a barefoot homeless man in Times Square a brand new $100 pair of boots on a cold November night. The man's name Jeffrey Hillman and he says he's not wearing the boots because they're so expensive and could get him killed and he's scared for his safety.

A Royal Baby
The Royal Family in London announced Prince William and his wife, Catherine, The Duchess of Cambridge, are expecting their first child. The Royal revelation came as Catherine was admitted to a Central London hospital with acute morning sickness.
