Number five -- Film critic Roger Ebert is recovering from a hip fracture.  His wife sent a tweet Thursday saying he was doing well in the hospital, joking "tricky disco dance moves" caused the fracture.  Ebert has endured a number of health problems over the past decade.  He's had a series of surgeries and complications from cancer and can no longer speak

Number four -- A photo has surfaced giving us a first look at the President the night of his re-election.  It's a shot taken when President Obama took a concession call from his republican opponent, Mitt Romney.  Mister Obama was in the presidential suite at the fairmont chicago millennium park at the time.

Number three -- One Illinois news anchor had quite a surprise for his girlfriend.  She thought he would be interviewing her but instead he proposed.  And of course she said yes!

Number two -- The U.S. Supreme court will soon tackle the controversial issue of same-sex marriage.  Justices on Friday agreed to hear two constitutional challenges to state and federal laws that deal with the recognition of allowing gay and lesbian couples to marry.  Arguments are expected to begin in March, with a ruling coming by late June. 

Number one --- A nurse at the hospital where the Duchess of Cambridge was being treated for morning sickness has commited suicide after being the victim of a prank call.  Jacintha Saldanha took a phone call where two d-j's from an australian radio station pretended to be Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles and tricked the nurse into revealing details on Catherine's condition.  The two d-j hosts will not return to their show until further notice.
