There's some good news if stopping at the pump is on your to do list Monday. Here's a look at the big stories from over the weekend.

Gas Prices Crash
Across the country, the average price for a gallon of unleaded is $3.38. That's a dime below what it was three weeks ago. And in Arkansas, it's even cheaper. The average price here is $3.07. Click here to check gas prices where you live.

"Fat Girls" Fallout
Fat girls. Those two words were written on a receipt for a group of women in California. The three ladies were enjoying an evening out until they were given the bill labeled with the words "fat girls." The server denied having anything to do with it but is now suspended. The bar manager offered a sincere apology and gave the women a 50% discount on their bill. Still, the three friends say the troubling experience will stay with them for life.

Cell phone bans
Even the FCC says it's dumb to ban cell phones on a plane. The federal agency is urging the FAA to loosen its restrictions on the use of tablets, e-readers and other gadgets while in the air. The FCC chairman says mobile devices empower people to stay informed and connected with friends and family, and they enable businesses to be more productive and efficient.

Josh Brent
The Dallas Cowboys offensive tackle was arrested Saturday morning after police say he was drunk when he flipped his car, killing teammate Jerry Brown in the process. Officers say he was under the influence and speeding when the accident happened. Sunday night, Brent was released on bond and told the media he's mourning the loss of his best friend and has nothing else to say on the matter.

Jenni Rivera
Mexican authorities say they found the wreckage of a small plane that they believe was carrying the singer in Monterey Sunday morning. The Mexican-American singer took off from the airport in Monterey, Mexico but lost contact with air traffic controllers for about ten minutes. Fans gathered in California Sunday night to remember the popular singer who was originally from Long Beach, California.
