Authorities Cracking Down on Drunk Drivers

Law enforcement across Northwest Arkansas will be stepping up patrol this holiday season.

Arkansas State Police have teamed up with Mothers Against Drunk Driving for the "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over " campaign.

Starting December 14th through January 1, 2013 authorities will be setting up sobriety checkpoints to identify and arrest drunk drivers along with saturation patrols.

According to State Highway Police last year 190 people died in Arkansas because of alcohol related accidents.
