Rogers Based Company Featured on Today Show

Updated: December 11, 2012

A Rogers based company made a Today Show debut this week. Skeeter Snacks was featured on the national morning show for serving up munchies that are safe for those with peanut and tree nut allergies.

CEO Charley Nevin says these types of allergies affect at least one child in every classroom adding, "There really is no solution out there for those folks. If you have a peanut allergy or tree nut allergy and you're exposed, you have the risk of going into anaphylaxis, a serious allergic reaction that is rapid in onset and may cause death.

"We're about what is that safe delicious and affordable product that we can make that is good for not only the people with the nut allergy but for those around them as well."

You can find the snacks in select Walmart stores.
