"These games coming up will certainly give them an opportunity to play a little bit more and get a little bit more seasoned," Arkansas head coach Mike Anderson said.

During the recent gauntlet of big conference opponents, minutes for the Razorback bench varied sporadically as the Head Hog continues to mix and match.

"I think you've got to have a core group but I'm not opposed to playing nine, ten guys," Anderson explained before Thursday's practice.  "Guys are going to have an opportunity to play, simple as that."

For Anderson, figuring out the core rotation gets a little bit tougher in the next game when Oklahoma State transfer and Fayetteville native Fred Gulley becomes eligible.

"He hasn't been himself this week," junior guard Mardracus Wade described.  "He's been very active, loud, talking.  He's very excited.  I can't wait to see him out there."

"He brings a lot of defensive intensity, another ball handler.  So that's good for us," freshman guard Anthlon Bell said.  "Hopefully he can come in and give us extra minutes."

"I think it'll be good for our team," Anderson said.  "An experienced guy that's played at this level before and has a tremendous defensive mindset.  I think he can get people into the offenses that we want to do.  I think he's an instinctive player."

The two-time high school player of the year in Arkansas will finally wear Arkansas across his chest.
