Skiing Santas
Dressed in Santa suits, ten ski instructors presented bags of sweets to children on the slopes of a famous Japanese ski resort. About 500 kids and tourists were there Monday to join in the celebration. Monday is also a national holiday in Japan, marking the emperor's birthday.

Lighting up NYC
The Empire State Building is lighting up New York City. The top of the Big Apple's biggest building is now glowing with red and green lights, in honor of Christmas. With just one exception, this is how the Empire State Building will look every night through January 6th. But on December 28th, the building will light the colors of Syracuse University and West Virginia in honor of their football teams meeting in the Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium.

Christmas Crime Caught on Camera
A deliveryman in houston got away with an iPad Mini, until now. The homeowner caught the whole thing on a security camera. The surveillance video shows the UPS deliveryman dropping off the new iPad on the homeowner's doorstep. Later, he comes back to swipe it. Police say the driver returned the Christmas present, in exchange for the homeowner dropping any charges.

Senator Affleck?
The rumor mill is churning with word that Ben Affleck could be Massachusetts' next senator. The actor was recently asked in a pre-taped interview if he would take the senate seat, if John Kerry was nominated for Secretary of State, and Affleck didn't say no. Since the interview, President Obama has nominated Senator Kerry for Secretary of State. If Kerry is confirmed, which is expected, there will be an open senate seat in Massachussetts.

Former President George H.W. Bush Hospitalized
The former president has been trending online, after being in a Houston hospital for about a month.The 88-year-old has been receiving treatment for a bronchitis-related cough. Officials say he might be released just in time for Christmas, and that he's steadily improving, receiving physical therapy to increase his strength.
