Study Ranks AR 21st in Animal Protection Laws

The Natural State is among the top half in a new study ranking states animal protection laws.

That information is according to the Animal Legal Defense Fund's most recent annual report.

The report includes a map, color-coding the states, which you can see below.

The ALDF shows states with the best animal protection legislation on the books in green.

The worst are in red.

Arkansas is one of the middle tier states shown in gold.

It officially ranks 21st in animal protection in the survey.

According to the study, Illinois is the best state and Kentucky is the worst.
