New Year's Eve is just days away and it may be worth braving the weather to check out a very unique celebration.

The Hog Drop at Last Night Fayetteville was ranked as one of the most unique ways to ring in the new year by Trip Advisor. It's at the downtown square and features a performing arts festival with musical performances, belly dancing, jugglers, comedians, a giant puppet parade, and more throughout the evening.

At midnight, it's all capped off with the dropping of a 10" by 6" Hog, followed by the dimming of the Christmas lights and a fireworks display.

Check out the rest of the list below.

Attendees wait in anticipation of the New Year with four hours live music from local musicians and food and drinks provided by local vendors.  Prior to the big show, guests can meet and greet its star Marshall P.
