It's been named one of the most unique New Years Eve events in the nation by Trip Advisor.

Last Night Fayetteville is bringing that different vibe to the downtown square on New Years Eve. For the second year, Last Night Fayetteville will transform the Square into an extraordinary event for the whole family.

"We have live bands that are going to be coming out to play tonight we have theater groups local comedy troupes we've got a full kids stage," said Lauren Embree, Executive Director of Last Night Fayetteville.

But if you can't make it to NYC for the big ball drop, don't worry! NWA has you covered!

"An event that's been getting a lot of national attention is our hog drop countdown to midnight where we will actually be lowering one of the pig sculptures from the Ozarks literacy council PigsHibition," said Embree. "This is really a community event that is built by Fayetteville, for Fayetteville."
