BHS Students to March in Rose Bowl Parade

Seven Bentonville High School Students have been picked to perform with the Bands of America Honor Band in the 2013 Rose Parade on News Year's Day.

Julianne Clements, Senior has been selected to be a Drum Major and Devin Brooksby,
Sophomore Baritone, Byron Marciniak, Junior Baritone, Matt Hall, Senior Percussion, Jackson
Urhahn, Sophomore Trumpet, Monica Gates, Sophomore Colorguard and Melissa Wadley,
Sophomore Dance

These students were chosen from hundreds of applicants across the nation for
membership in the national honor band. Their BHS band director, Scott Tomlinson, has
been involved with the Bands of America organization for nearly 20 years and helped the students
in Bentonville to know about this event.
