Facebook viewers weigh in on what they want to see different this year in Fayetteville.

One  main suggestion, is widen roads and make it easier to drive around town.

"Some of the things that we're doing is the flyover, it starts at Milsap. We're looking at the Van Asche extension and we're doing widening on 265 and Cato Springs," Fayetteville mayor, Lioneld Jordan said.

Plus a potential road project around the University of Arkansas. It's only in the talking phase so far .

"I know that there's the university and the city is partnering up to redo work on Maple and Razorback. We haven't worked out all the details yet but we are working on that."

But the problem,  you told us,  isn't just driving -- it's parking too.  Mayor Jordan said the money made on parking meters downtown are now paying to add more spots.

"We're building the parking deck down on Dickson street. We plan on doing that and have that done by 2014."

One Facebook commenter said the spots wouldn't be necessary with more public transportation.

"I think that we'll be looking at possibly another mass transit tax. I have heard a lot of folks talk about bringing it back."

While others would rather use their own two feet.

"We look to build a record amount of trails, 4.2 miles which is the most in the history of the city."
