Amber Norris, 24, of Green Forest, Ark., said she would have been at work on Dec. 27, but since her voice was gone, she took the day off.
Instead, she and her husband, John, traveled to Missouri to go to Bass Pro Shops. On the way home, they stopped at Wild Bill`s Travel Center in Ridgedale and bought some Missouri Lottery tickets.
In addition to the one "Big Money" ticket, Norris played the six other tickets she bought in her car in the parking lot and discovered she had a big winner.
The couple plans to use the money to pay bills, fix John`s truck and put some money in the bank. John Norris is an Arkansas state trooper.
